From the date you receive a notice of irregularity by registered post, you have a period of eight days in which to submit proposals to correct errors in your application, or 15 days in which to submit your observations on irregularities raised with the trademark itself. In either case, your response must be sent by post or email.
If you fail to respond by the appropriate deadline, your application will be deemed inadmissible owing to procedural irregularities or rejected outright. You can ask for a refund of half of any fees paid to the Industrial Property Division, but the other half will be retained by the Public Treasury.
